ENROLMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.  Industry regulation:

Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy Practitioner Training Course is the name of the course you will be undertaking. 

Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy (HICAT) is not the same as Art Therapy.  This training course does not lead to government regulated higher education awards.

This course is industry recognised rather than government regulated. 

This course is recognised with the International Institute of Complementary Therapists, the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine, the Complementary Medical Association and the International Association of Therapists. All have excellent global reputations and rigorous screening processes.

2. Using titles:

On successful completion of your HICAT Practitioner Training Course, you may use the titles: 'Creative Arts Facilitator' or 'Creative Therapist'.

Art Therapists in the UK must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which is the statutory regulator of the profession. The Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy Practitioner Training Course is not an HCPC approved programme and completing the course will not lead to graduates being able to register as an Art Therapist or to provide Art Therapy in the United Kingdom.

3. Course submissions:

a. Students must submit 100% of all coursework submissions in order to pass this course.

b. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure course submissions are made in full and on time.

c. Module submissions are expected between course weekends to keep up with the weekend schedules.

d. We will work closely with students and will always do our best to assist students to complete the course. We ask students to please keep in touch with the course Tutor and to inform them at the soonest opportunity if they are struggling to make course submissions.

4. Course Fees and Refunds

a. An initial deposit of £200 is required upon enrolment to secure your place. This deposit will be deducted from the total course fees remaining. The deposit is refundable if you change your mind before 22 March 2026 (thereafter no refund is available), or if the course does not go ahead.

b. Course fees are to be paid online via Credit/Debit Card and are required upon enrolment.

c. If paying the full course fee, the remaining balance (after the £200 deposit) must be paid in full by 31st March 2026

d. If choosing to pay by x6 monthly instalments, the £200 deposit is paid on enrolment, then £900 paid by 31st March 2026. Subsequent payments of £1,100 are made per monthly invoice issued on the 27th of each month. *x6 month payment plan payments begin in the first week of training. The full fees must be paid prior to course graduation. Students will receive a payment plan and must maintain the agreed payment amount on time.

e. If choosing to pay by an agreed personal payment plan, please contact our Director Katie for agreement and your Investment Coupon Code (katie@devine-creative.com). The £200 deposit is required on enrolment, followed by monthly instalments invoiced on the 27th of each month until payments are complete. The full fees must be paid prior to course graduation. Students will receive a payment plan and must maintain the agreed payment amount on time.

f. Students who do not pay course fee instalments prior to the due date will have online access to the course removed or will not be able to attend classes, and coursework submissions will not be assessed.

g. Upon course commencement, course fees and part thereof are non-refundable. Students who have paid course fees in full or in part, who are un-enrolled due to failure to submit coursework, or who have a change in circumstance or mind and wish to discontinue their course, will forfeit their course fee. Students using payment plans remain liable for the full course fee or part thereof.

h. We will always do our best to assist students to complete the course and may offer alternatives in extreme circumstances to support students in financial difficulty; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

i. Places cannot be held for enrolments submitted without an accompanying payment.

Payment plans are not credit agreements.

5.  Deferrals:
Students who cannot participate in the course due to illness or other extenuating circumstances, may be able to defer to a later course date or move to online study, at the Directors discretion. 
In the unlikely event we are unable to deliver the course due to circumstances beyond our control, the course may be put on hold and deferred to a later date which will be as soon as possible.

6.  Class cancellations:
In the very unlikely event that a class needs to be deferred due to circumstances beyond our control, students will be notified via text message, email, and through the colleges Facebook page.
In the event of any circumstances beyond our control which require classes to be cancelled, fees will not be refunded and every effort will be made to deliver the training course via an alternative method.

7.  Behaviour:
Any student who uses behaviour that is offensive, upsetting, aggressive or disruptive to the class (online or in-person) may be expelled after two warnings have been issued in writing, outlining the nature of the unsuitable behaviour. If a student is expelled, no refund of any course fees already paid will be available and no graduation certificates will be issued.

8.  While all care and due diligence are taken, please be advised that in the unlikely event that any harm or injury is caused by the practical application of any information or instruction supplied by Devine-Creative and their employees and representatives we can accept no liability.

9.  This course is not suitable for people who are currently experiencing mental health issues as some activities may cause emotional triggers.
In agreeing to these terms and conditions you are stating that you are not aware of having any mental health issues and that you are not currently receiving treatment for a mental health issue.

10.  This course has not been written for people who have a 'non-typical' learning style, or a medical condition that may impact their ability to read, write or comprehend the course content.

In agreeing to these terms and conditions you are stating that you are aware of your own learning abilities and will personally seek any additional support/tutorage that you may require to complete the course.
